Invest in Middlesex Congratulates our 2026 Pitch your Plan winners!
Our judging panel was impressed by the quality of applications received this year for 2026’s Pitch your Plan Youth Business Plan competition. With prizes available in two divisions – Elementary – Grade 7&8, and Secondary – Grade 9-12. Both winners were presented with a MacBook Air and Invest in Middlesex swag by Warden Sue Clarke to help support their business launch.
Our Elementary winner is Isabelle Bloeman for her business Tube It, an agricultural implement she invented to tube feed calves colostrum in their infancy to support development of their immune system. It’s a durable, more environmentally friendly design, targeted to dairy and beef farmers and has been a hit with those who have tested her product.
Our Secondary School division winner is Inaaya Zia with her business, Second Chance Studio – a creative book repair and decorating business, where she will give new life to treasured books in need of repair, offer decorating classes, and provide custom kits to others who wish to bring new life to their own books and journals. With a focus on sustainability and creativity – Inaaya is well on her way to creating a successful business.
