Throughout the construction period of the facility, we were lucky to get government support as well as great support from Middlesex County and Strathroy-Caradoc with the building, permitting and construction process.

One of the reasons we moved to Middlesex County was because we wanted to be in a situation where we were in more of a rural setting. Because we do ship all over the world we like the location. We’re close to the highway, close to the 402 so it allows the trucks to come in, which makes shipping easy.

Southwest Middlesex is a good fit for Ontario Plants because there is opportunity for growth. There is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement for us to continue to build in this area and various ways in which Middlesex County has helped us build this business here and they are constantly looking at ways to continue to help us expand our business. Middlesex producers are second to none, they really know what they're doing when it comes to finishing a nice product. Being in Middlesex County, we're centrally located between rural and urban populations where we can both do the retail section as well as produce what needs to be done.

We chose Middlesex because of the tax rate and accessibility to the 402 corridor and proximity to the border. It's been super easy to get trucks in and out of the area making it easy to do business.
