Telecommunications

The County of Middlesex offers a diverse and scalable telecommunications network that provides a full complement of telecommunication services to its customers. A 2003 telecommunications infrastructure study found that Middlesex County “had an existing high speed digital communications network built on fibre optics dedicated data lines, cable, wireless and satellite platforms.” Middlesex County is a partner in Rural Connections – a joint venture between the Province of Ontario, the County of Middlesex and Bell Aliant bringing high speed data access to even more residents of Middlesex County.
