Middlesex County Economic Development Department is responsible for the attraction, retention and expansion of businesses in Middlesex County. The economic development team works closely with businesses and Middlesex municipalities to provide the tools that help businesses thrive and grow.

Business Attraction Services:

Middlesex Economic Development promotes Middlesex County to the world by communicating with senior national and international business leaders and provincial and federal government decision-makers and showcasing the benefits of the region as a location for new investment. The department maintains an inventory of land and buildings available for development and assists with site selection activities. Middlesex Economic Development also compiles economic data and community statistics to assist in business decision making.

Business Retention and Expansion Services:

Middlesex County Economic Development acts as a champion and spokesperson for local business, gathering community intelligence, supporting business’ special issues and enhancing the existing business infrastructure. 

Tourism
